French Door Retractable Screens

How French Door Screens Work

French door retractable screens use a double-door configuration: two separate screens mount on either side of the doorway and meet in the middle when extended. Each screen retracts independently into its housing when not in use, completely disappearing from view.
‍
The screens join at the center with magnetic strips that hold them securely together while allowing easy pass-through. Simply part the screens at the center to walk through, and they'll reconnect behind you. For regular in-and-out traffic, you can lock one screen in place and use just one side.

Ideal Applications

Traditional French Doors: Classic double doors that swing inward or outward onto patios and decks.

Double Entry Doors: Grand entryways with two swinging doors.

Wider Single Openings: Any doorway wider than 5 feet benefits from the French door configuration.

‍Note: For openings wider than 10 feet, or for bi-fold and multi-panel sliding doors, our Large Opening Retractable Screens may be a better solution.
